If your payment status is displayed as “cancelled,” you can re-attempt the payment from The Common Application website.
If your payment was rejected but is still being displayed as “processing” or “pending,” please contact Flywire support (https://www.flywire.com/contact/) for assistance. Flywire will need to cancel your ‘pending’ payment before you can attempt again. Once your payment has been cancelled, you can attempt to make a payment again from The Common Application website.
All application fee payments to The Common Application must be started from your account in The Common Application website. If you are unable to find the link to re-attempt the payment, contact The Common Application support (https://appsupport.commonapp.org/) for assistance.
If the message in The Common Application say that "There was a problem with your payment: Please re-attempt your payment submission,” this means that your payment for this application was not successful. Kindly select the link to ‘submit the payment’ to restart your payment request.
If your application shows “Your payment is being processed,” you will not be able to re-attempt your payment. Please note, during peak periods, it may take up to 24 hrs for The Common Application website to report the payment status. If the payment status is not updated, please contact The Common Application(https://appsupport.commonapp.org/).
Please note: Flywire does not control when the correct payment status will be updated on over The Common Application website. These updates may be delayed during peak periods. It is highly recommended that you make your payments well in advance of the due date.
